To prevent the exploitation of minors here in Canada, we need to understand the issue. But we also need to be able to talk to our kids about it.

When children are equipped with knowledge about consent, online safety and healthy relationships, they are much less likely to be deceived by predatory people and traffickers.

Whether you’re a parent, teacher, caregiver or student, you have the power to create a safer online and offline world.

Reports of online sexual exploitation of children have increased by 815%.

With the online exploitation of minors growing rapidly, prevention education has never been more critical.

The Prevention Project is here to empower YOU—youth, parents, caregivers and teachers—with the tools to prevent sexual exploitation before it starts.

Built in collaboration. Backed by research.

Prior to developing The Prevention Project, Ally spent two years engaging with frontline workers and survivors across Canada to identify the gaps in trafficking prevention. This listening process revealed a clear need: barrier-free, survivor-informed resources.

In response, Ally teamed up with Exploitation Education Institute to create over 100 multimedia resources which became The Prevention Project. Each resource was reviewed by a dedicated team of educators and lived experience consultants, to whom we are deeply grateful.

Educator Facilitation Guides
